Vocabulary মানে শব্দভাণ্ডার — অর্থাৎ কোনো ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত শব্দসমষ্টি। একটি শব্দভান্ডার হল কেবল শব্দের একটি সংকলন যা একজন ব্যক্তি শেখার, মুখস্থ করার বা অধ্যয়ন করার চেষ্টা করছেন।
Collocation মানে হলো — এমন কিছু শব্দের স্বাভাবিক জোড়া বা কম্বিনেশন, যেগুলো একসাথে প্রাকৃতিকভাবে ব্যবহার করা হয়, যদিও আলাদা শব্দগুলো আলাদা অর্থে ব্যবহার করা যায়। যে শব্দগুলো একসাথে ব্যবহার করলে ভাষাটা স্বাভাবিক শোনায়, সেটাই Collocation।
